About returns in general:
- You can cancel undelivered orders up to the day before despatch (the day of despatch is taken to be the day we send you an email to confirm despatch) - after that please follow the returns policies.
- When you return an item to Securit GB Ltd, it is important to us that you return it unused in its original condition, with all tags attached and the item returned is protected on its journey back with the inner and outer box we used to send it to you.
Note: Unfortunately we can\'t accept liability for items lost on their way to us, so we recommend you send your return parcel recorded delivery as \'posting is not proof of receipt\'.
Please note: if you need to return an item please use Parcel post this is the only carriage type we refund. Should you use a different courier (e.g Special Delivery or courier) you will only be refunded the equivalent Parcel Post carriage cost.
You can:
1. Return items within 14 days of despatch.
- If you return an item back to us within 14 days of us shipping it to you, we\'ll refund the postage cost!
This applies to returns for refund or exchange. But please note the exclusions stated below, the 14-day deadline and that for any order there is only one free return.
The FreePost offer is conditional on all these and we reserve the right to charge your payment details with £20.00 to cover administration and costs if those conditions are not met. Our date of despatch is the date we use to make the decision by. Note: Free returns are limited to mainland UK.
2. Return items within 14 days of despatch - no questions asked!
- You can return any item back to us within 14 days of us shipping it to you - no quibbles! This applies to returns for refund or exchange. For that please use refer to the contact page for our full address details. This includes faulty goods.
We will:
- Refund your payment to the original card details you gave us or forward a cheque once we\'ve given the returned items a once-over visual check, but no later than 14 days after receipt at our customer returns centre - providing they pass the checks! Please note the Exclusions.
- If you return an item to be exchanged for a different item or size, we\'ll process your exchange free of charge and send it to you. The first exchange per order is FREE (only offered to Mainland UK orders) any orders returned from abroad they will be a £5.00 surcharge for dispatching returned goods . For any subsequent exchange we will charge you the cost of shipment detailed under \'Delivery Charges\' as applicable to your location.
Exclusions:
We are unable to refund or accept the return of:
- Used items: Such items are not resalable not least because of safety concerns. We strongly recommend you do not remove tags/protective stickers or go out on your bike with your new gear until you are completely satisfied that you do not require a refund.
We classify items as used if the original hang tags/protective stickers are removed.
- Items damaged in transit: Sending items back in their product packaging only is not enough; items to be returned should be properly protected on their journey back with all the packaging we used to send it to you, including the product packaging and the outer box. If you send it back any other way you risk the item becoming damaged in transit and consequently you will lose all or part of your refund. The minimum handling charge for items not properly packaged is £20.00.
- Special Orders: We are also unable to refund deliveries we have made to you that were \'Special Order Items\' We may agree to take back a \'Special Order Item\' but you need to let us know first through the Contact Us form with your order number and the items from the order to be returned.
- Batteries and battery acid: Hazardous goods transport regulations make the domestic return of these goods impossible.
PLEASE NOTE All goods that have been returned simply because you have "changed your mind" we will refund the value of the goods not the orginal postage charge.
Faulty goods:
You can return faulty goods but only if there is evidence that they have been faulty due to being damaged in transit or during manufacture. All goods are checked by our suppliers and Securit GB Ltd however things can be missed. To return faulty goods we must be informed with 14 days of dispatch and the goods returnd to our address. We will then check the goods and forward a letter explaining our findings. In some situations we cannot offer a refund if the goods have been in correctly used or returned in poorly package condition.
Exceptions:
If you return an item for a refund which triggered a saving or discount on your original order (for example free delivery or a saving on an associated item). The refund will be adjusted to remove the original saving or discount which no longer applies.
International faulty or returns goods:
Any items that are returned to due to being faulty or returned with 14 days. Shop4bikers will only refund the cost of the goods but will not refund any postage costs to or from the customer.
