Securit GB Ltd wants to supply you the best quaility service at affordable prices. If occasionally we get things wrong or the item you receive is not quite what you hoped,please accept our apologies. On ordering, payment & cancellation terms:

To order simply locate the product by using the categories or use the product search button.

  • In order to purchase any products you will be required to log in and create an account.
  • Please fill in the relevant form. (Your details are only used by Securit GB Ltd and are not forwarded onto any third party.)

  • Add the products to the shopping cart and then pay using the Stripe or Pay Pal secure payment system.

  • If you prefer you can order via the phone (01246 472758 or 07769652077) and pay by bacs/credit/debit card or forward a cheque made payable to "Securit GB Ltd".

  • You can purchase direct from our premises in Chesterfield (by prior arrangement).

  • The placing of a telephone or written order for the goods and/or services by you will be deemed to be an offer by you  to purchase the goods and/or services subject to these conditions. The issue by us of a written acknowledgement shall constitute acceptance of the order and shall create a legally binding contract subject to these conditions.

  •  If ,after receiving the invoice, the customer, cancels the order within 14 days.  Securit GB Ltd will proceed with the order until a verbal or written confirmation that the customer has cancelled the agreement has been received. If the customer cancels on delivery an additional charge will be levied.

Exercising your right to change your mind (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).

  • For most products bought online or over the telephone you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund. These rights, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, are explained in more detail in these terms.

 When you don't have the right to change your mind. You do not have a right to change your mind in respect of:

  •  

    (a) services, once these have been completed, even if the cancellation period is still running where you have asked us in writing to perform the services during the cancellation period;

  •  

    (b) any products which become mixed inseparably with other items after their delivery.

 

How long you have depends on what you have ordered and how it is delivered.

  •  

    (a) Have you bought services (for example, installation)? If so, you have 14 days after the day we email you to confirm we accept your order. However, if we start the services during the cancellation period on your written request, once we have completed the services you cannot change your mind, even if the period is still running. If you cancel after we have started the services, you must pay us for the services provided up until the time you tell us that you have changed your mind and still pay us for any goods that you have purchased with the services.

  •  

    (b) Have you bought goods (for example, a metal garden shed)? If so you have 14 days after the day you (or someone you nominate) receives the goods, Please note that if we have installed goods that you have bought from us and you still have the right to change your mind in respect of those goods you will be responsible for the costs of uninstallation of the goods and must return them in an undamaged state. If you wish for us to uninstall the goods our current installation fees are available on our website. You will be responsible for the goods until we collect or we commence uninstalling them, whichever is sooner. As the shed has been built we cannot re-sell it so there will be a 30% deduction in any refund due plus £150 collection fee.

  • All prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price charged will be the prevailing price at the time of ordering

  • All goods remain the property of Securit (GB) Ltd until paid for in full.

  • All goods must be paid for in advance unless prior agreements have been made before manufacture and despatch of goods.

  • For business trade customers Securit GB Ltd accepts payment by company cheque, debit card, credit card or BACS transfer. For all orders, we will require payment by Pro-forma Invoice and payment must be made in full before the goods have been started to be manufactured, any delay will delay the delivery date.

  • Every effort has been made to ensure that the specification in Securit (GB) Ltd is correct at time on updated the website, however technical data and dimensions are a guide only. Sometimes product specification may change; in such case Securit (GB) Ltd will do all its best to inform you when ordering. No guarantee is given or implied that goods will conform in absolute detail to the description or illustrations published.

  • Due to constant product development, Securit (GB) Ltd reserve to the right to amend /change/alters any of the product(s) as appropriate, without prior notice.

On the delivery terms:

  •  If the customer decides to alter the specification by adding an optional extra or alter the product, Securit GB Ltd must have two weeks notice to amend the order. If the customer doesn’t give adequate timescale the delivery date maybe delayed.

  • Signature of delivery note/order form is deemed to have accepted these conditions of sale.

  • Any periods of time quoted for delivery are to be treated as estimates. Securit (GB) Ltd shall not be held responsible for any losses suffered as a result of delivery outside the estimated delivery time.

  • Please note that before installation can take place a level, firm surface will be required. (e.g. concrete, tarmac, patio 50mm/2” thick) before installation. The base must be solid, completely flat and secure. See the above dimensions section for the recommended base size. 

If our installation team arrive on site and the ground is not suitable the store will not be installed. There will be additional charges if there is time wasted on site.

  • Delivery shall deem to be effective when goods are unloaded at the delivery address nominated by the Buyer.

  •  If Securit GB Ltd are unable to deliver the goods due to access problems or the site is not prepared correctly any costs incurred will be passed onto the customer.

On the product terms & warrantee:

All Securit GB Ltd Stores are covered by the manufacturer’s comprehensive 10 year warranty.  This warranty covers product faults and outer skin perforation by rust if used under normal working conditions.

Securit GB Ltd no longer manufactures these products, any warranty is cover by a third party British manufacturer.

The warranty is invalid if the maintenance schedule has not been adhered to.

The locks must be regularly oiled and maintained, if this is not done the locks are not covered by warrantee.

We recommend in hash weather conditions (i.e cold & wet) to cover the locks with a rag and a plastic bag, which will protect the lock.

The locks are guaranteed for 1 year, parts only, against faults occurring through normal use not through a person(s) tampering with the lock.

Lock Warranty

All locks are covered by a 12 month warranty from the manufacture.  

Our warranty is invalid if the maintenance schedule has not been adhered to.

The locks must be regularly oiled and maintained, if this is not done the locks are not covered by warrantee.

Optional extras, accessories, electrical components are guaranteed under the manufacture’s warrantee (i.e. 1 years guarantee, parts only).

Securit GB Ltd are not liable nor offers any guarantees of any work done by third parties i.e. electricians and builders.

On damage goods, non delivery of items and returning no faulty goods:

You can cancel undelivered orders up to the day before despatch (the day of despatch is taken to be the day we send you an email to confirm despatch) - after that please follow the returns policies. When you return an item to Securit GB Ltd, it is important to us that you return it unused in its original condition, with all tags attached and the item returned is protected on its journey back with the inner and outer box we used to send it to you.

RETURNS - Goods which prove unsuitable may be returned for refund, credit or exchange if they are returned to ourselves within 14 days of receipt. Subject to the following conditions:

  • ·Items are returned carriage paid by the customer.
  • Items are received in a resalable condition.
  • ·Items should be returned unused in their original condition in order to secure a refund.

  • ·Items are returned complete with all packaging in good condition. (We reserve the right to levy a charge to replace product packaging which is damaged or defaced).

  • ·Items returned after 14 days from receipt may be subject to a restocking charge of not less than 10%. This does not affect your statutory rights.

  • ·We cannot accept any items which have been specially ordered for you or manufactured to your specification for return.

  • ·All returns are to be accompanied by the senders name and address, account number, order reference number (these are found on the invoice), and reason for return. Please help us to help you.

·We cannot accept responsibility for returned parcels which are undelivered, please retain your proof of postage etc., you may require it on the event of a claim with your carrier.

Deductions from refunds if you are exercising your right to change your mind.

If you are exercising your right to change your mind:

(a) we may reduce your refund of the price to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods, such as damage, if this has been caused by your handling of them. If we refund you the price paid before we are able to inspect the goods and later discover you have handled them in an unacceptable way, you must pay us an appropriate amount;

(b) the maximum refund for delivery costs will be the costs of delivery by the least expensive delivery method we offer;

(c) where the product is a service, we will deduct from any refund an amount for the supply of the service for the period for which it was supplied, ending with the time when you told us you had changed your mind. The amount will be in proportion to what has been supplied, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

You must obtain a Returns Authorisation Number before returning any goods. Please contact our sales team for this.

  • Securit (GB) Ltd will not be held responsible for any goods stolen or damaged in the event of forced entry, by person(s), either successful or unsuccessful, into the unit.

  • Claims of shortages or damaged goods when delivered by Securit (GB) Ltd must be made at the time of delivery.

  • Claims for shortages or damaged goods when delivered by third parties (any delivery by non Securit (GB) Ltd staff) must be made in writing to Securit (GB) Ltd within 3 days of receipt.

  •  Claims for non delivery must be made to Securit (GB) Ltd within 10 days of the date of despatch shown on the invoice.

  • Securit GB Ltd reserve the right, when we feel it justified, to charge a 20% handling fee against the return of  non faulty goods or 50% for special orders. If any non fault goods are returned the customer must deliver them back to Securit GB Ltd in good condition. If Securit GB Ltd is required to collect the goods there will be a 20% charge and an additional charge for labour and collection costs.

  • If, on receipt of the goods, the customer is not satisfied with the way the products have been manufactured e.g. the thickness of the
    material or the method our design team have constructed the store and wishes to return the goods Securit GB Ltd will charge as non faulty goods As all our literature clearly states the specification and the features of our products. If the customer is still unsure we offer a free consultation service. Any specially designed stores are confirmed with clear diagrams & specifications are listed on the invoice.

  •  If any non faulty goods are return damaged Securit GB Ltd has the right to charge an additional charge to cover the cost to replace the goods.

Securit GB Ltd will refund your payment to the original card, bacs details you gave us or forward a cheque once we've given the returned items a once-over visual check, but no later than 14 days after receipt at our customer returns centre - providing they pass the checks!  For any subsequent exchange we will charge you the cost of shipment detailed under 'Delivery Charges' as applicable to your location.
